Bridgit Pay x Platform55: Closing Ireland's Gender Pay Gap
The EU Pay Transparency Directive has been delayed in Ireland. The work of closing pay gaps has not. Two female-founded companies, Bridgit Pay and Platform55, have launched a partnership to help Irish employers do exactly that.A fully integrated solution, from report to action
With gender pay gap reporting a legal requirement under the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, and all Irish employers with 50 or more employees obligated to publish their report by 30th November 2026, Bridgit Pay and Platform55 have announced a strategic partnership that gives organisations a fully integrated solution - from automated data analysis and reporting through to a structured 12-month action plan designed to drive real, lasting change.
Organisations working with BridgitPay and Platform55 can earn verified status as a Pay Equity Employer, signalling clearly to employees, candidates, and stakeholders that their commitment to an equal and inclusive workplace is backed by action, not just intention.
Filing a report is no longer enough
The November deadline is not optional. Any employer with 50 or more staff must publish their gender pay gap report on their website by 30th November each year or risk non-compliance. But with mounting pressure from employees, candidates, and stakeholders, simply filing a report is no longer enough. Organisations are being asked, and are increasingly expected, to show what they are actually doing about it.
What the founders say
Jenny Winspear, Founder of BridgitPay, said:
“Most organisations spend far too long working out what their pay gap is. Far fewer can tell you why it exists. BridgitPay cleans the messy data, produces a verified report, and reveals the key drivers of pay gaps. Partnering with Platform55 means we don't just hand organisations the diagnosis, we connect them straight to the people who can act on it. That's how you turn a statutory obligation into a genuine competitive advantage”
Michelle O'Keeffe, Co-Founder of Platform55, said:
"At Platform55, we know that the gender pay gap isn't fixed with a single policy - it's closed through consistent, targeted support at the moments that matter most in a woman's career. This partnership means organisations no longer have to piece together a solution themselves. They get the full picture, and a partner on either side to help them change it."
