Responsible AI Statement

Bridgit Pay Ltd Responsible AI Statment

How Bridgit uses AI

Bridgit helps organisations understand and close their gender pay gap. Some features use AI. This page explains what that means for your data and your results.

What AI does

It writes plain-language commentary on your pay gap figures, helps match your spreadsheet columns to our template, suggests seniority bands for job titles, and reviews job descriptions for pay transparency wording.

What AI does not do

It never calculates your figures. Every number is produced by conventional code following the UK and Irish statutory methods, and any AI-written text is checked against those figures before you see it. It never makes decisions about individual employees. It does not see who they are, and it does not score, rank or evaluate anyone.

You stay in control

AI suggestions are confirmed by you before they take effect. Commentary is a draft you can edit or regenerate before anything is published.

Where your data goes

All AI processing runs on Amazon Web Services in Ireland, inside the EU. The AI never sees employee records, and personal identifiers are withheld from it. Your data is never used to train AI models, and the model provider has no access to it.

How will you know

Anything written by AI in Bridgit is labelled as such.

Regulation

We have assessed our features against the EU AI Act and none is high-risk. We apply its transparency and human-oversight principles to every AI feature and review the assessment as the law and our product change.
