If EU pay transparency events you’ve attended have felt heavy on legislation and light on “what do I actually do?”, this workshop is for you. We’ll focus on practical, real-world steps so you leave with a clear action plan to get your organisation ready.

We’ll cover:

  1. Data readiness – what data you really need, how to find it, clean it, and get it into a usable shape so you can trust your numbers.

  2. Hiring and job applicants – what needs to change in job ads, preparing salary bands, and recruitment processes to align with pay transparency expectations.

  3. Pay transparency in practice – concrete ways to share information on pay internally and externally without creating confusion or unnecessary risk.

  4. Pay gap reporting today and under EUPTD – how this connects with existing Irish pay gap reporting, and what that means for your timelines and workload.

This will be a practical workshop, not a lecture. Under Chatham House rules, you’ll have the chance to discuss current difficulties with your peers, share what’s working (and what isn’t), and explore how others are overcoming similar challenges in their organisations. And don't worry if you haven't started yet - we'll provide the guidance!

We’ll also be joined by Jen Keane, an individual who has won multiple awards for her work in creating paygap.ie. Jen will share an update on the incoming pay gap reporting portal, as well as analysis from 2025 pay gap data, including:

  • What the latest submissions are telling us about different sectors

  • Straightforward ways to improve the quality and clarity of your reporting next time around.

This session is exclusively for people currently working in roles with responsibility for pay transparency or pay gap reporting in their organisation (including small businesses). If you are not yet in such a role, your ticket will be refunded so we can keep the conversation focused and relevant for practitioners.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clear, personalised set of next steps based on your business.

  • A simple checklist of practical actions, so you can move from “we don’t know where to start” to “here’s what we’re doing next, and when.”

The workshop will be facilitated by Jenny Winspear. Jenny is an occupational psychologist, qualified CIPD practitioner, and founder of Bridgit, a leading pay gap reporting platform. With deep expertise in HR compliance and workplace equity, she'll guide you through practical first steps drawn from real-world implementations with Irish and UK organisations.
